Arctic Zero
Ice Cream is a REALLY big weakness for many people. Good news for them! I have discovered a really good treat that is way lower in calories! Arctic Zero! It's in the ice cream section. I have only found it in the pint sized containers. But the WHOLE pint is 150 calories! I think it says the 1/2 cup serving is 37 calories. That's compared to the same serving of yogurt or ice cream being around 90 calories or more. I have tried the chocolate peanut butter, which is good, but it's not as creamy as normal fattening ice cream, but it's still a nice treat. My favorite is the maple vanilla. MMMM!!! That one is really really good and it seems to have more of a creamy texture. So far those are the only 2 flavors I have found. I will continue to look. I MUST try the cookies and cream! The ingredients are great! Natural and Organic, non gmo, with 14 grams of whey protein per pint! A really guilt-free treat!

Sandwich
Usually the biggest chunk of calories in a sandwich is the bread. There are light options.. I think the lowest I have seen is 40 cals/slice. Another option I use alot is pitas. A specific Brand though! Don't just go grab a pita and think you are outsmarting the calorie monster.... The Brand is Joseph's. They have pita's and Lavash wraps. Both are great. The ingredients are flax, oat bran, and whole wheat. The pitas are 60 calories. You can either just use the whole pita, and just put your normal sandwich stuff in the middle and fold it like a taco... or you can cut it in half and stuff the filling inside, making your ' sandwich ' bread only 30 cals. The lavash is a long rectangle wrap. The whole piece is 100 calories. I usually cut it in half and make a wrap with the 50 calorie piece. It's plenty. This is great to use for a breakfast wrap also. I find the Joseph's lavash and pitas at Walmart in the deli section around the french breads and deli baked goods.
Choose Your Chips Wisely
It really pays to read your labels and compare. You can have 7 tortilla chips for 140 calories, or you can have 22 for 140 calories. BIG difference! Look for a thinner chip. The new Tostitos Cantina chips are lower calorie for more chips. So far the best I have found is the Kroger brand " Private Selection Tortilla Thins". They are really good and crispy and a 140 calorie serving is 22 chips. So here is a prime example of how reading labels can help you get more food out of your calorie allowance.
Skinny Peanut Butter
PB2 - A way to get your peanut butter fix without the 200 calorie price tag.
Peanuts are crushed and dehydrated and the fat is seperated out of them. What is
left is a peanut powder. You reconstitute with water back into Peanut butter.
You can play with the consistancy and get it like you want it. 2 Tbsp of the
powder is only 45 calories and it's a perfect amount for spreading on toast.
There is also a chocolate PB2! Yum! I find it at Kroger.
